La frattura tra Leonard e la dirigenza degli Spurs è insanabile e tutti si aspettano che la volontà del giocatore di andare a Los Angeles verrà rispettata. In tutte le simulazione per fare una trade viene sempre invocato il nome di Brandon Ingram, ma è possibile che i Lakers si debbano anche procurare qualche pick di draft da inviare nel Texas.
