La decisione è stata presa a seguito di un confronto tra i vertici della Formula 1, il Presidente della FIA, le autorità competenti, il Presidente dell’Automobile Club d’Italia, il Presidente della Regione Emilia-Romagna, il Sindaco della città e il promotore.
